Cacao is more than a candy — she is a plant ally honored for thousands of years by the Maya, the Aztec, and other indigenous peoples. In their traditions, cacao was used in rites of renewal, and as offerings to the Earth and sky.
When sipped in ceremony with the help of a Ceremonial Cacao Facilitator, cacao softens the heart, clears the mind, and creates a sense of warmth and connection.

How Ceremonies Work
We gather for about three hours in an intentional circle. We begin by calling in the spirit of cacao, introducing her story, her origins, and how she’s prepared. The cacao origin is chosen for its contributing energy.
As a group, we speak to the energies present — both cosmic and earthly — and sometimes, we listen to the guidance of the Mayan astrological calendar, if it’s aligned to weave that in.
The rituals shift with the moment. No two ceremonies are the same. Sometimes we sit in stillness. Sometimes we sing. Sometimes we move. Often, I partner in other healers to help tune the body and spirit back into harmony.
As cacao opens the heart, you’ll be invited to soften into the places that feel tight or hidden. Allowing Cacao to shift these areas brings release and stillness.
Each guest receives a small crystal to carry the energy of the ceremony with them until we meet again. I sometimes also serve cacao pulp fruit or rosewater — gentle offerings to soothe and nourish.
